  • National Security Agency - an authoritative site describing the agency's inner workings. 
  • Open Secrets - tracks money in U.S. politics and its effect on elections and public policy.
  • Sunlight Foundation - devoted to encouraging transparent and accountable government.
  • United States Courts - provides information about the federal judiciary including materials on rules and policies, federal judges, statistics, forms and fees, and access to federal court records. 
  • U.S Government Accountability Office - reports and testimonies on topics such as justice, the environment, trade, technology, housing, education, defense, and international affairs

Finding Your Senator or Representative

Go to www.senate.gov

  • Click on “Find your Senators – Choose a state”
  • Choose Pennsylvania and you will be presented with the names of the senators from which to choose.

Go to www.house.gov

  • Enter your zip code+4 in the boxes under “Find Your Representative” 
  • You will be presented with the name of your U.S. representative.

Finding Your State Senator or Representative

Go to the Pennsylvania General Assembly and choose to “Find Members By...” Search by your ZIP Code+4 (if you do not know what this is, then go to the U.S. Postal Service to Find a ZIP Code).
