Legal Research

When doing legal research you are going to use both primary sources, including laws, regulations and/or court opinions, and also secondary sources, which explain, describe, and discuss the primary sources. Both types of sources are important: primary sources are fundamental since they are the basis of a legal topic, and secondary sources are necessary to obtain a thorough understanding of the topic.
